Tim Johnson, Chief Executive Officer

Tim began his insurance career as a graduate trainee with Royal Insurance, fulfilling a number of roles within the branch network and Head Office functions. He then moved into the broking arena with Aon in 1994 and following periods in the Corporate and Sports and Events areas, took up the post of CEO of Aon's Affinity and SME business.

Tim then joined Towergate as CEO in 2003, and was involved in a number of acquisitions which saw the business grow rapidly. With the merger of Towergate and Folgate in 2005 Tim, with Towergate Chairman Peter Cullum, formulated the plan for Cullum Capital Ventures.

Having led the exponential growth of CCV as its Chief Executive over the past three years, on the 1st July 2009, Tim was appointed as the new Chief Executive of Paymentshield, to further strengthen the Management Team and allow the business to continue to expand over the next three to five years.
