You have a choice of Insurance options including:

• Buildings only cover
• Buildings & Contents combined

Subject to the standard policy conditions, we will meet the cost of either replacing or repairing your contents, up to a maximum sum insured of £40,000 if the property is rented out on a furnished basis or a maximum of £10,000 if the property is rented out on an unfurnished basis. Where possible any damaged articles will be replaced as new.

Contents cover is restricted to domestic furniture and furnishings (excluding valuables) that belong to you and are in the insured property. This includes televisions, satellite, and radio receiving devices, fridges, freezers, washing machines, tumble driers, dishwashers, microwaves, gas and electric cookers and meters, telephones, fixtures and fittings.

The policy also provides cover for:

• Individual items up to £5,000
• Accidental damage to contents is available (at an additional cost) where the property is rented out on a furnished basis
