Paymentshield's Retirement Buyout (RBO) offers you benefits from all your hard work with minimal hassle. We simply provide you with a cash lump sum on retirement, in place of the future income from your existing portfolio of policies with Paymentshield. Each RBO valuation is calculated on key intermediary specific factors, such as age of the portfolio, historic attrition rates and mix of current business.
As you will be retiring and leaving the industry, we will ensure that your Paymentshield customers are well taken care of by transferring their business to a specialist adviser within the Towergate Group. We will handle the transfer for you, ensuring your customers are informed and the transfer goes smoothly - it's that straightforward.
As our Retirement Buyout is such a simple process and your customers are taken care of, your only concern is deciding what to do in your retirement.

To qualify for a Retirement Buy Out, you must meet the following eligibility criteria.
- Currently authorised with the FSA
- Be the principal of the firm
- Have a current portfolio of Paymentshield policies
- You can not have previously sold your Mortgage / Life Book
As the ongoing care of your customers will be transferred to Towergate Group on completion of the RBO, you will be precluded from advising or re-broking any of the customers involved.
