Inertia v 3.47 Release

The latest Inertia update contains important updates to the Policy Documents and Policy Summaries for our Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance products.

MortgageProtector

The changes to the MortgageProtector Policy Document include:

  1. The variation and cancellation clause wording
  2. A change to the Mortgage Benefit Clause which explains that the client's monthly benefit entitlement is linked to their mortgage during a claim. Therefore if the mortgage payment to their lender has reduced from the amount shown on their Certificate of Insurance, their monthly benefit paid during a claim will be reduced in proportion to their actual mortgage payment.
  3. Additional Cover wording changed from '33%' to 'up to 33% additional cover'
  4. Removal of 'Unemployment only' and 'Existing Borrowers' wording

MortgageProtector Solo

The changes to the MortgageProtector Solo Policy Document include:

  1. The variation and cancellation clause wording
