Landlords Buildings & Contents Insurance

Flexible cover that's right for you and your clients

Your clients have invested in their rental property to provide them with long-term financial benefits, so it makes sense that they protect their investment by insuring the building and its contents.

Our policies can be tailored to suit your clients needs. Clients can choose from Buildings only cover or Buildings and Contents cover combined. And they have the option to add Accidental Damage cover for added peace of mind.

More cover as standard

We've recently made some improvements to our Landlords Buildings & Contents Insurance. In fact, it's so good, it's been awarded 4 stars by Defaqto, the Independent Financial Research Agency. So you can feel confident you're selling a product that's right for you and your clients.

Wider Acceptance Criteria

We now cater for a whole range of tenancy arrangements including:

  • Students
  • Multi-occupancy (up to 6 tenants)
  • Persons who fund their rent through the Benefits Agency

Covering much more as standard

And our insurance now covers a lot more as standard, including:

  • Locks and keys - cover for accidental damage to the locks or theft of the keys to your client's rental property
  • Unauthorised use of services - cover for unauthorised use of metered electricity, gas or water
  • Landlords contents in communal areas - where contents cover has been selected
  • Damage to gardens - caused by attending Emergency Services
  • Loss of metered water - following damage to the buildings
