We are very proud to announce that against extremely strong opposition from Churchill, Direct Line, Halifax, LV and Privilege, we were awarded Best Home Insurance Provider and Best Overall Insurance Provider at the recent What Mortgage Awards 2009.
What Mortgage is a customer facing magazine and these awards really highlight the cream of the mortgage and insurance industry. We are extremely proud that these awards, combined with our recent awards in the intermediary sector, demonstrate the high level of our product and service offering.
FTAdviser Online Service Awards 2009
After a huge response from the financial intermediary community, with voting numbers in the thousands, we picked up two awards for:
- 'Most Improved Company' in the Life & Pensions Category
- '5 Star Award' in the Life & Pensions Category
The FTAdviser Online Service Awards are an independent measurement of who is getting it right, and who needs to do more work to keep their customers happy. Those awarded a 5-star for service are considered to be the top performers.

The online survey of Mortgage Solutions readers has been running for the past month and is the largest ever, having generated more than 1800 responses. Now in its fifth year, the Awards are not only the longest-running of their type but also the only ones voted for by mortgage brokers.

After more than 10,500 brokers voted we picked up two awards for:

The Financial Advisor Service Awards are considered to be the benchmark for service standards within the retail finance market place. These awards recognise the quality of service and the levels of experience and expertise which we offer our brokers.

Mortgage Edge Online Technology Awards 2007
We were awarded the Mortgage Edge Online Technology Award for Best General Insurance Platform for our quotation software, Inertia, which generates quotations for our Buildings & Contents as well as Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance.
The Mortgage Edge Online Technology Awards recognise the growing importance of technology in the market and is judged by brokers. The award assesses companies' online technology, taking into account speed of download, ease of navigation, functionality as well as consistency of service.
