New Four Star General Insurance Product for Paymentshield following Defaqto Promotion

Paymentshield has been awarded a Four Star Defaqto rating for its home contents insurance policies. This complements Paymentshield's range of buildings cover products for homeowners, that have already attained this great rating.

The elevation from three to four stars is recognition of the products competitiveness as well as a series of feature enhancements including:

  • Cover for replacement of door locks has increased from £750 to Up to Contents sum insured
  • Cover for loss of metered water has increased from £1000 to £2000
  • Cover for loss of metered oil has increased from £1000 to £1500
  • The temporary increase in sum insured for religious festivals has increased from £1000 to £1500
