From 1 January 2025 Paymentshield certain policyholders who are currently covered by some of our older Home and Landlord’s Insurance policies will be moved onto our latest insurance policies at renewal.

There's nothing for customers to do. Most customers will be moved automatically onto our latest policy and receive the additional features and benefits our latest policy offers.

This change will not affect all customers but those customers who are affected and due to renew in January, will start to receive letters explaining their existing policy is being withdrawn in the coming weeks. These letters will be sent by their chosen communication method and provide more information about their move to our latest policy.

Where we need to speak to customers, who aren’t able to automatically renew, our customer services team will be proactively calling those customers so we can discuss their needs and make sure they get a new policy that properly meets their requirements.
