Paymentshield’s Home and Landlord’s Insurance ‘classic’ back book, which is currently underwritten solely by RSA, will see customers moved to our new insurance partner Ageas from early July 2024.

We'll be contacting affected customers from mid June to advise them of the changes ahead of their policy anniversary.

The change comes following RSA’s decision to withdraw from the UK personal lines market.

What does this mean for affected policyholders?

The transition will be seamless for policyholders who’ll keep their current policy reference number and will receive full details of the change of their insurer with their policy anniversary pack.

All policies which renew from 1st July 2024 will be serviced by our new insurance partner Ageas, one of the largest car and home insurers in the UK.

The perfect partnership
This change marks the beginning of an exciting new partnership between Paymentshield and Ageas. There will be further benefits to their relationship with Paymentshield with product and service enhancements scheduled for later this year.
