Following the announcement of the partnership between mortgage and protection platform Smartr365 and General Insurance provider Paymentshield back in March, advisers with access to the platform will now see even more benefit from this integration.

Since the launch, further development means advisers using Smartr365 now have full access to Paymentshield’s Refer & Protect service, which empowers advisers to easily offer insurance to every client. If advisers are struggling to find the time for GI but still want to ensure their clients receive quality insurance protection. They can seamlessly refer their clients to a team of Paymentshield’s in-house insurance specialists to receive advice on a chosen date and time, or provide an instant automated quote to clients by email or text. 

Indeed, the partnership seamlessly embeds GI into the mortgage and protection journey to create a frictionless experience for advisers giving advisers the choice either to source a Paymentshield policy themselves or refer their clients to Paymentshield’s referral team to manage the GI sale, whilst remaining in the Smartr365 platform and without the need to rekey information.

In addition, advisers will now see a choice of GI quotes within the platform. Previously, advisers may have had to choose to integrate with a particular provider and just see a single price returned via their integration. 

This enhancement means advisers using Smartr365 can compare prices side by side, making it much easier for advisers to compare policies and prices for their customers to give them a good outcome.

Since launch, the integration is already enabling advisers to better serve their clients with Smartr365 and Paymentshield being trusted by many of the leading mortgage and insurance networks and clubs, including The Openwork Partnership, Just Mortgages Direct, Sesame Bankhall Group, and Legal & General.
