To support improvements to our proposition, we need to expire all quotes for our Tenant’s Contents Insurance not placed on risk before 8pm on Thursday 30 January 2025.

After 8pm on Thursday 30 January, any existing quotes will be moved to the 'Expired quotes' section in Adviser Hub.

Should you wish to proceed with any Tenant’s Contents Insurance quotes after their expiry, you can simply  visit the expired quotes section and click ‘re-quote’ (no re-keying required) before continuing to application stage.

The reason quotes are expiring before the end of their usual quote validity period is because we’re making some exciting changes to our Tenant’s Contents Insurance which will launch on 31 January 2025. These changes will see additional features and benefits for your clients.

If you wish to submit new business or place any Tenant’s Contents Insurance policies on risk before the client’s quote expires please login to Adviser Hub

FAQs

Why has my quote expired? / Can I get my old quote back?

To support the improvements to our Tenant’s Contents Insurance, we need to expire all quotes in order to make a new version of this insurance available which will offer enhanced features and benefits to your clients.

You'll still be able to retrieve your old quote. If the client decides they do want to go ahead with the policy purchase, you can simply select requote in the expired quotes section of Adviser Hub and click ‘re-quote’ without the need to re-enter the client’s details.

Will my customers price change?

We’re not expecting any significant price changes following the launch of our new Tenant’s Contents Insurance. Therefore, should you need to offer a new quote to your client, we expect the new price to be similar, if not the same, as the client’s original quote but with the additional benefits of the new features we’re adding to their policy.

What changes are you making to your Tenant’s Contents Insurance?

The key changes we're making are as follows:

  • Pet damage cover will now be included in the Tenant’s Liability section of our Tenant’s Contents Insurance
  • We’re removing an exclusion surrounding wear and tear for clothing
  • The Fair Processing Notice is being updated to reference that Paymentshield is now part of Markerstudy Group.

What will happen to existing customers?
Any existing customers will automatically be moved onto our latest Tenant’s Contents Insurance at their next policy anniversary.

Who can help if I’ve got a problem?
