Tradex join Ageas as the latest insurers to become members of our Home Insurance panel

We're pleased to confirm both Tradex Insurance Company PLC and Ageas Insurance Limited as the latest additions to our panel of insurers.  

Tradex is a UK-based general insurer that provides both personal and commercial insurance lines. Their policies are underwritten through Markerstudy Insurance Services Limited, ensuring a dependable and comprehensive service for your customers. 

Ageas provides personal lines insurance to over four million customers in the UK. Its claims service is operated in the UK and provides a 24/7 emergency helpline for customers.    

These new insurers, who are now both now fully live within our quote and apply platform, will further reinforce the panel’s underwriting capabilities and breadth of coverage, increase competition, and ultimately ensure that advisers can provide quotes to a higher proportion of customers.  

Ageas and Tradex join AXA, Allianz, Integra and Royal Sun Alliance on Paymentshield’s Home Insurance panel, with further expansions to the panel expected in early 2025 following Royal Sun Alliance’s withdrawal from the market. It reflects Paymentshield’s commitment to maintaining stability and consistency amid a changing market of personal lines insurers.  

In addition to these new insurers joining Paymentshield’s panel, development has also recently completed to enable Integra to move to insurer hosted pricing (IHP) which means the majority of Paymentshield's Home Insurance panel is now operating on an IHP model.
