What does Auto Renew mean?

Auto renewal is the process of automatically enrolling into a new insurance policy before your current policy is due to expire. During the initial application process, and at any policy renewal stage auto renewal will be clearly explained to you, and you can decide if you wish for your policy to keep renewing automatically or not by contacting us. You can also change this at any time during your policy.

Why opt out of Auto Renewals?

If you would prefer to review and renew your policy manually every year, opting out of auto renewal may suit your needs better. You will need to contact  us to discuss your renewal before your policy end date to make sure you have adequate protection in place. This is really important if you own your own home as it may be a condition of your mortgage to have sufficient coverage in place.

Why opt in to Auto-renewals?

You can opt in at any time to automatically renew each year, this will make sure there is no gap in your insurance coverage as you automatically enrol into a new policy when your current policy ends. Each year Paymentshield will search our panel of insurers and offer you a renewal price from the cheapest insurer available, so you know you’re always getting our most competitive price.

You control if your policy is set to auto renew each year, and you can opt in or out of this service at any time before or during your policy by calling: 0345 601 1050 or by contacting us.
