We're proud to take an active role in our community
Supporting our local community has always been at the heart of Paymentshield. That’s why, each year, we give our employees the opportunity to vote for a local charity they’d like to support as our charity of the year. So far, we’ve helped raise over £50,000 for some amazing local charities over the years including a hospice, a primary school and a heart screening charity. Our charity of the year - Queenscourt Hospice
Queenscourt Hospice is a local charity that provides support for the people of West Lancashire, Southport and Formby. They care for patients with serious illnesses, enabling them to achieve the best possible quality of life at each new stage.
Charity abseil
In June 2022, five of our proposition team took part in a charity abseil to raise money for our charity of the year, Queenscourt Hospice.
Louise Pengelly, Michaela Walsh, Jennifer Pomfret, James Pilkington and Andrew Youds abseiled down the 170ft Barton Square tower at the Trafford Centre raising a total £2,846.
