More about Personal Possessions Insurance
Our optional personal possessions cover is a valuable extension to our Home Insurance to protect against accidental loss or damage of items normally worn or carried, like jewellery or mobile phones, inside and outside the home anywhere in the UK and whilst abroad.
A little extra
support
Personal possessions cover can be added to your Contents Insurance. Personal possessions detail can be found within our latest Home Insurance Policy Booklet
Personal possessions cover includes...
- The ability to specify more expensive items in your policy valued over £2,500
- Cover for accidental damage or loss to your personal possessions including clothing, shoes, bags, watches, jewellery, sporting equipment, gadgets, laptops, tablets and cameras, up to £2,500 (unless specified)
- Cover for money and unauthorised use of credit cards up to the value of £500
- Protection for bikes (pedal cycles) up to £500 and mobile phones up to £250 (unless specified)

What may not be covered...
Our personal possessions cover is designed to cover unforeseen events, but it doesn’t cover every eventuality. For example, loss or damage that happens after more than a total of 60 days outside of the UK during the current period of insurance, will not be covered. We also don’t cover damage to sports equipment whilst in use.
